Description
RAPSTM is a fast acting, high efficacy herbicide made from naturally occurring, sustainable resources plus Dimethyl Azelate. There is also test and literature evidence of RAPS having nematocidal capabilities. The pesticidal activity of RAPSTM is almost certainly due to a solvent effect, i.e. it rapidly penetrates and dissolves the cell walls of plants and lower forms of life disrupting their ability to grow. This action is physical, not chemical. The active ingredients do not chemically react with any compounds within the target host, so no new chemicals are formed and the active ingredients remain unchanged.
While further development is required on RAPSTM, the EPA has already agreed to have its registration go through the Bio-Pesticide Division.
